Billie Joe Armstrong and Olivia Rodrigo Speak Out on the Reversal of Roe v. Wade

In a passionate and striking statement, Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, revealed his intention to give up his U.S. citizenship after the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. At the London Stadium on Friday, Armstrong really let his feelings fly during Green Day’s show. Speaking to the crowd, he shared his frustration with the decision and made it clear that he plans to step away from what he sees as a disappointing path for the country.
