With luck, the notability of the song will bring in more fans to discover his other work. Rare talent like this should be appreciated, and hopefully considered for big awards in the future.

Even though not everyone agrees that Johnny Depp’s take on “Sound of Silence” is his best work, it could definitely inspire more fans to check out his earlier stuff. It’s super important that everyone acknowledges Depp’s incredible talent and considers him for major awards in the future. Even though it’s obvious he’s had a solid musical presence all along, his version of “Sound of Silence” isn’t exactly his standout moment.
