Pattie Mallette, born April 2, 1975, in Stratford, Ontario, is best known as the mother of pop superstar Justin Bieber. Her life, however, is a story of resilience. Tragically, Pattie lost her sister at age 2, and her childhood was marred by abvse and tr4uma. By 14, she struggled with substance use, theft, and expulsion from school. At 17, after a suicide attempt, she found faith and began rebuilding her life.

Pattie gave birth to Justin at 18, raising him as a single mother in low-income housing with support from her parents. Despite challenges, she nurtured Justin’s love for music, entering him in the 2007 Stratford Star competition and posting his performances online, leading to his global fame.

Her 2012 autobiography, Nowhere But Up, details her journey of faith and motherhood.

While Justin’s rise to stardom strained their relationship, they’ve since reconciled. Today, Pattie is proud of her son’s growth and character, celebrating his deepening faith and maturity.
