U.S. Second Lady Usha Vance will visit Greenland this week amid President Donald Trump’s renewed interest in the mineral-rich territory. She departs Thursday and returns Saturday, accompanied by one of her children.
The trip includes cultural stops and attendance at Greenland’s national dogsled race, the Avannaata Qimussersu, featuring 440 sled dogs and 37 mushers.
