Say goodbye to flies, mosquitoes and cockroaches boiling these leaves

We’ve all been through the frustration of being harassed by flies, mosquitoes, and occasionally cockroaches in our homes. Those annoying buzzing, unexpected bites and the worry about the diseases that these little intruders can bring. We recommend: Keep mice and cockroaches away with this foolproof duo for your home But what if I told you that there is a natural, safe, and effective way to scare away these pesky visitors? The answer lies in nature and common ingredients that you can have in your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 bay leaves
  • 10 nails
  • 1 x 2-litre plastic bottle
  • 1/2 cup regular shampoo
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar

Procedure

1. Mosquito trap:
Dissolve 5 tablespoons of sugar in a cup of hot water.
Add the yeast and mix well.
Take a 2-liter plastic bottle and cut it at the top.
Pour the mixture into the bottle and cover with the cut top inverted.
Place the trap in areas where you’ve noticed mosquito activity.
2. Cockroach and Fly Repellent:
In a pot, boil 15 bay leaves and 10 cloves in a cup of water.
Boil for 10 minutes and let cool.
Transfer the essence to a spray container.
Spray in areas where you’ve seen cockroaches or flies, such as pantries or bathrooms.
3. Repellent Spray:
Combine half a cup of shampoo, half a cup of vegetable oil, and half a cup of white vinegar in a bowl.
Mix well and transfer the solution to a spray bottle.
Spray in areas where insects are a problem.
Not only are these at-home methods effective, but they’re a safer, more natural alternative to commercial chemical repellents.

It is important to mention that while these homemade repellents are effective, they do not replace essential preventive measures such as keeping areas clean and avoiding water stagnation.
