Ryan Seacrest Breaks Down in Tears as He Shares Heartbreaking Family News

Ryan Seacrest shared a deeply emotional moment this week on his radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, revealing that his father, Gary,

has been battling prostate cancer for several years. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments, the cancer has spread and worsened over time.

The situation became even more critical when Gary contracted pneumonia, leading to a stay in intensive care.

For the past four months, Gary has been either in the hospital or receiving full-time care at home. Ryan,

who is very close to his father, opened up about the emotional and physical toll the illness has taken on Gary.

As Gary approaches his 79th birthday, Ryan asked him what he wanted for the occasion. His father’s

heartbreaking response was: “I just wanna get outta this chair. I just wanna leave this house.” Ryan,

visibly moved, shared the moment on air, with his voice trembling as he recalled his father’s simple but powerful wish.

This vulnerable moment highlights the deep bond between father and son, showing how difficult it is for

families dealing with serious illness. Ryan continues to support his father through this challenging time,

making sure his wishes are heard and his love and care are felt.
