Teddi Mellencamp, star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had been suffering from “serious and exhausting” headaches before being hospitalized for “oppressive” pain. After a doctor’s visit, she was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors.
On Instagram, Mellencamp shared that a CT scan and MRI revealed the tumors, which doctors believed had been growing for at least six months. She announced that two of the tumors would be surgically removed on February 12, while the smaller ones would be treated with radiation later.
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she wrote, expressing gratitude for the support she had received.
Before the surgery, Mellencamp, who was previously diagnosed with stage II melanoma in 2022, shared her journey, including a photo from her hospital bed. She also posted a message from her father, rock star John Mellencamp, saying, “God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day, but I have faith and amazing surgeons.”
Following the surgery, her family provided an update, stating, “Surgery went well. That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some much-needed rest.”
