an investigation is ongoing. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed their passing, along with their dog, but did not disclose a cause of death. Deputies arrived at their

residence to investigate the deaths of two elderly individuals. It remains unclear how they were alerted. The couple, married since 1991, had lived in Santa Fe since the 1980s.

Their home was in a gated community off Hyde Park Road. Sheriff Mendoza assured the public there is no immediate safety concern.
