Mother of Three Found Deceased After Being Reported Missing in Northwich

Rachel Booth, 38, a mother of three from Barnton in Northwich, was found dead in a lake near Delamere after a two-day search.

She was last seen calmly visiting a gas station in the early hours of July 19, captured on CCTV.

Her disappearance prompted a major search by Cheshire Police, with officers, sniffer dogs, and divers involved.

On July 21, Booth’s body was recovered from a lake near a holiday park in Oakmere. Police confirmed no suspicious circumstances,

and a report is being prepared for the coroner. She leaves behind her husband, Carl Langley, and their three sons.

Her family, who also knew her as Helena, described her as a devoted mother, wife, and sister, expressing deep grief

and gratitude to those who helped in the search. Friends and locals remembered her as active, kind, and well-liked.

A GoFundMe campaign has raised thousands to create a trust for her sons and support an ADHD-related charity important to the family.

Local businesses and neighbors have paid tribute, and the community continues to rally around her

loved ones during this difficult time, honoring her memory and offering comfort in the wake of her sudden loss.
