This recipe guide will provide you with a foolproof method
for boiling and peeling eggs so that they come out perfectly every time.
Ingredients:
ā¢Fresh eggs (as many as you need)
ā¢Water
ā¢Ice
Instructions:
Boiling the Eggs:
ā¢Place the eggs in a single layer at the bottom of a pot.
ā¢Cover the eggs with at least an inch of cold water.
ā¢Bring the water to a rapid boil over high heat.
ā¢Once the water is boiling, cover the pot and turn off the heat.
ā¢Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 12 minutes for large
eggs (adjust the time slightly for smaller or larger eggs).
Cooling and Peeling:
ā¢Prepare a bowl of ice water.
ā¢Once the eggs have finished cooking, transfer them immediately to the ice water to cool for at least 5 minutes.
ā¢To peel the eggs, gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack
the shell, then start peeling from the wider end, which often contains an air pocket.
ā¢Rinse the peeled eggs under cold water to remove any bits of shell or membrane.
