Jelly Roll Says He Was “Treated Like a Criminal” Inside a Louis Vuitton Store in Sydney — Fans Are Outraged

Jelly Roll has announced his first headlining tour in Australia and New Zealand. The “Down Under 2025” run kicks off in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, October 28, moves to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Tuesday, November 4, and closes in Auckland, NZ on Saturday, November 8.  He’s joined on the road by Shaboozey and Drew Baldridge.

A Memorable Shopping Stop

During his Australian tour, Jelly Roll publicly shared a troubling experience at a luxury store in Sydney. He claimed the staff at Louis Vuitton treated him and his group “like we were finna come in and rob that place.”He added, “I have never been looked at more like a crim… Listen, the last time I was looked at like a criminal this bad — I was an actual criminal this bad.”

From a Rough Past to New Stages

Jelly Roll has been open about his past legal troubles and addictions. He was arrested at age 16 for aggravated robbery and later served more than a year in prison plus seven years on probation. Now the Grammy‑nominated, platinum‑certified artist is performing internationally and making his mark in Australia.
