Jane Goodall Cause of Death Revealed

Jane Goodall, legendary primatologist and conservationist, passed away on October 1, 2025, at 91,

while on a speaking tour in California. The Jane Goodall Institute confirmed she died of natural causes.

Her groundbreaking research began in 1960 in Gombe, Tanzania, where she discovered chimpanzees using tools—redefining humanity’s

understanding of animals. She revealed their intelligence, emotions, and complex social lives, reshaping science and conservation.

In 1977, she founded the Jane Goodall Institute, later launching Roots & Shoots, a youth movement in over 60 countries.

Her tireless work focused on protecting wildlife, empowering communities, and inspiring young people to act for the planet.

Even into her nineties, Goodall traveled globally, speaking about conservation, climate change,

and hope. Known for her warmth and optimism, she touched millions.

Her passing marks the end of an extraordinary life, but her legacy endures through her institute, programs, and the generations she inspired.
