Jacqueline Bisset, 78, continues to dazzle audiences with her natural beauty – take a look at her today

Jacqueline Bisset is exceptional in a variety of ways.

With a 58-year career and a portfolio that includes roughly 50 movies, the 78-year-old actress is still going strong.

Since she was so adored by my parents, Jacqueline Bisset served as one of my role models when I was little. She is among the few actors now performing who, in my opinion, perfectly encapsulates the glitz of vintage Hollywood.

She has aged gracefully, and I have always found her to be quite sexy. She never went overboard with her makeup use.

She has demonstrated her versatility throughout her illustrious career by playing a variety of roles, such as the seductive seductress Miss Goodthighs in the spy parody Casino Royale (1967), a loving mother in Sleepy Time Gal (2001), First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in America’s Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story (2003), and Anna Karenina (1919). The brunette beauty is known for her high cheekbones and mesmerizing green eyes.

In 1966, Bisset made her film debut in Roman Polanski’s Cul-de-Sac, and in 1968, she shot to fame after appearing in two straight films: The Sweet Ride, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination, Detective, starring Frank Sinatra, and Bullitt, directed by Steven McQueen. She also costarred in The Sweet Ride with Tony Franciosa and Bob Denver, who is best known for playing Gilligan on Gilligan’s Island, and Detective.

She has also starred in a number of films and television shows, including Day for Night (1973), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Deep (1977), Wild Orchid (1990), Joan of Arc (1999), the miniseries Dancing on the Edge (2013), Miss You Already (2015), and Birds of Paradise, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy (2021).

The trilingual actor, who speaks English, French, and Italian, was awarded the Legion of Honor, France’s highest official honor, in 2010. In 2023, Bisset received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Sedona International Film Festival.

Despite working with some of the most handsome men in Hollywood, Bisset has never been married. There were rumors of a romance between the alluring woman and the Bullitt co-star and Hollywood bad boy who caught Frank Sinatra’s attention. Stephen McQueen. But polite English lady Bisset said they were too dissimilar.

She referred to McQueen when she stated, “He was attractive, but a little scary,” in an interview with the Daily Mail. He was an urban American, whereas I was extremely English. I wouldn’t have been able to handle the way he spoke since I had no idea what a man or a soul chick was.

Despite having long-term relationships with Canadian actor Michael Sarrazin, ballet dancer Alexander Godunov, and actor Vincent Pérez, she acknowledges that she is too independent for anything lasting.

I’ve had some really intriguing men in my life, Bisset revealed in an interview with the Independent. They’ve been a challenge. I’m informed that I don’t choose simple men. “Sometimes you get too much information when you spend time with people,” she continued. You start to notice negative behaviors. You start to notice them, and then you have to marry someone with horrible habits, which I’m not sure I can handle. Never have I had a horrible relationship. I haven’t lost my temper yet. I recently left settings that were too much for me.

Bisset, who is the godmother of Angelina Jolie, hasn’t made headlines for having controversial relationships, but she rose to fame after winning the Golden Globe for her portrayal of Lady Cremone in the BBC series Dancing on the Edge.

After being nominated for best newcomer 47 years prior, the 69-year-old’s acceptance speech, which was largely made up of ramblings and played in the background to indicate her exit from the stage, revealed genuine gratitude on her side.

She then made an appearance as a sassy femme fatale in the French thriller The Lodger (2020), and most recently, she participated in the film Loren & Rose (2022). Rose, played by Bisset, is the primary character. She is a legendary actress trying to relaunch her career but is hindered by the idea that she is “little zany and a bit unreliable.”

The movie’s director, Russell Brown, asserts that Rose is Bisset’s complete antithesis in real life. “Viewers frequently believe Jacqueline to be ‘just like she is in the movie. But this isn’t really the case; as a woman and an actress, she is very different from Rose, and it speaks something about her talent that the shift feels so natural.

Bisset is a timeless beauty who gracefully accepts becoming older. She said: “I believe, if you want to look good, you’ve got to forgive everyone” in her notorious Golden Globes speech. It’s the best cosmetic procedure.

She has also claimed that despite having “lots of complexes” as a young woman, she was never drawn to cosmetic surgery. It doesn’t, in my opinion, make you look younger. It distinguishes you,” stated Bisset.

She is a shining example of kindness and generosity in the world of celebrities. She is such a fantastic actor and artist.

Jacqueline comes across as being extremely genuine! She is a lovely woman and one of my all-time favorite actors.

I ASKED MY NEIGHBOR TO CLEAN UP AFTER USING MY BBQ — THE NEXT DAY, SHE LEFT HER OWN “RULES” ON MY DOOR, BUT I SHUT THAT DOWN. So, about six months ago, a new neighbor moved in — a woman (40) with her son (16). At first, she seemed chill. I even lent her some household stuff and let her use my outdoor grill station when we weren’t home. No big deal, right? Wrong. One weekend, me, my husband and our kids went to visit my parents. We came back, and boom — MY BACKYARD LOOKED LIKE A FRAT HOUSE HAD JUST HOSTED A BBQ APOCALYPSE. Empty bottles, food scraps, grill left dirty like it had survived a grease explosion. I ask her about it, and she just shrugs, saying it was her son’s birthday, so you know, it’s just kids, it’s what kids do. Apparently, I shouldn’t make a fuss over something so minor. Lady, it’s my backyard, not a public park! So, I do the reasonable thing. I draft up three simple rules: 1. If you use something, clean it and put it back. 2. Please, clean up after your child. 3. That’s it. Just be respectful. I hand it to her, thinking we’re all good. THE NEXT DAY, I WAKE UP TO A LIST OF HER RULES TAPED TO MY DOOR. HER rules. For MY property. Spoiler: I didn’t follow her rules. In two weeks, her son knocked on my door and pleaded, “Ma’am, please, stop!” 👇🏼 Full story in the first comment 👇

MY SISTER TOOK BACK THE CAR SHE GIFTED ME AFTER I UPGRADED IT, SO I TAUGHT HER A LESSON. My older sister sold me her old car for a symbolic amount. It hadn’t run in ages, with flat tires and rust under the hood. But she made a big deal out of gifting it to me. Knowing my way around cars, I invested $5,000 to upgrade everything—new interior, fresh paint, new tires, and wheels. I was thrilled with the result. One morning, as I was about to leave for university, my sister stormed in, DEMANDING THE CAR BACK. I was sh0cked. She claimed her husband’s car had broken down, and since she hadn’t sent the sale documents, the car was still legally hers. She said she had changed her mind. My parents sided with her, arguing that she needed the car for her kids. My first thought was to call the police, but then I had a better idea. I decided to teach her a lesson she wouldn’t forget. A POOR BOY’S LIFE CHANGES AFTER HE PULLS AN OLD, RUSTY CHAIN STICKING OUT OF THE SAND ON A REMOTE BEACH Adam is 13 years old and lives with his grandfather in an old trailer near the ocean. His parents passed away when he was just 3, and since then, his grandpa has been his only family. They don’t have much, but his grandpa has raised him well—Adam is strong, smart, and way more mature than most kids his age. One afternoon, he rode his bike down to the beach, just like any other day. He wandered along the shore, letting the waves tickle his feet—until something caught his eye. A thick, rusted chain lay partially buried in the sand. Curious, Adam grabbed it and pulled—but it barely budged. Whatever it was connected to was massive. From that moment on, Adam became obsessed with digging. He had no idea what he was about to uncover—or how it was about to change his life forever ⬇️

The rusted chain jutting from the sand seemed worthless to everyone else, but to 13-year-old Adam, it promised an escape from poverty. He couldn’t have known that…

THEY WERE PRAYING IN A CIRCLE—BUT NO ONE TAUGHT THEM HOW It was just after snack time, and I was washing out some paint cups when I noticed the room had gone oddly quiet. Too quiet for a group of 4- and 5-year-olds who usually treated volume like a sport. I turned the corner into the play area and stopped in my tracks. Four of them—Niko, Janelle, Izzy, and Samir—were sitting cross-legged in a perfect little circle. Hands held. Eyes shut. Heads bowed. They were whispering something I couldn’t quite catch at first. I thought maybe it was a song or one of those rhyming games they loved. But when I leaned in, I realized they were… praying. Like, really praying. Asking for things. Saying “Amen.” Janelle even crossed herself at the end like she’d seen in church. Thing is, we don’t do any kind of religious activity in our classroom. It’s a public kindergarten. No nativity plays, no Bible stories, nothing. And I’d never seen any of these four talk about faith or even mimic that kind of behavior before. I crouched down and gently asked, “Hey, what are you guys doing?” Izzy opened one eye and whispered, “We’re asking the sky to help us.” “Help you with what?” I asked. Niko just said, ⬇️
