Donald Trump was sworn in as president for the second time, and during his inauguration speech, among the rest, he praised his son, Barron Trump.
During Donald Trumpâs inauguration, social media quickly gained momentum over the interaction in which the young Trump shook hands with former President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
The public praised for greeting his fatherâs opponents, with many agreeing that the presidentâs son is a well-mannered young man.
âI was very impressed by that gesture and from someone so young. To go across the aisle and shake their hands was a very classy and mature thing to do. Good for Barron,â one person wrote.
âSuch a good young man⊠That gesture just tells you everything. Well done, Melania,â another added.
Many were eager to learn what he said to Biden and Harris, and according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Barron greeted Biden saying, âGâday to you sirâ before turning to Harris with the words, âMaâam, good day.â
Biden replied, âItâs good to see you, man.â
Body language expert Judy James said Barron âvery confidentlyâ and âcharminglyâ bent to shake hands with Biden.
âAnd although Bidenâs face seems to fall as though Barron has passed on some kind of sinister threat or message, the truth was less dramatic as Barron seemed to be leaning to greet Kamala and Bidenâs face was registering the fact that heâd finished his greeting ritual with Trumpâs son,â James said.

Further, James explained that now that heâs older, when accompanying his parents to important events, Barron arrives before them and leaves behind them, thus spending time shaking hands and offering gracious-looking words.
âHe lets everyone know that he is becoming a force to be reckoned with in his own right and because of his height and the increase in his confidence signals, it gives him a rather princely air, presence-wise. Biden had been on the receiving end of a flame-thrower speech from Trump, where he had sat in a variety of poses including pained deflation and bravado smiling as his entire four years in office were scorched to ashes.â
One of those poses that caught the attention of many was Barron Trumpâs unique hand gesture.

Namely, at one point, Trumpâs youngest son did the Mr Burns thing with his hands.
Body language expert Darren Stanton considers Barron Trumpâs unique hand gesture, known as the politicianâs steeple, in which the fingertips on each hand touched to form a triangle shape, an authoritative position.
âIt just shows they believe themselves to be an authority on the topic theyâre discussing, and there are two main elements to this gesture. Itâs a display of authority if their hands are together. Theyâre saying, âIn my opinion, this is what needs to happenâ. And they expect to be listened to,â Stanton said.
âTapping whilst using the politicianâs steeple means theyâre considering whatâs being said,â he added. âTheyâre essentially thinking whether there is any merit to it. People who work in Sales use this when theyâre talking to people, as they are processing a lot of information as they speak.â
Currently, Barron Trump is attending New York University (NYU).
This means he wonât be residing in the White House. His mom, however, would be splitting her time between Washington DC., New York, and Florida.
