A woman’s life took a drastic turn when she married a wealthy man who initially showered

her family with gifts and favors. Despite his generosity, he was unfaithful, and after the

second affair, she decided to divorce him. Her family and in-laws, however, pressured her to stay,

fearing a scandal. She lost custody of her daughter, Kelly, but received alimony and a fair settlement.

Over the years, she stayed in touch with Kelly, but her in-laws and parents painted her as the villain.

Her best friend Tina supported her through this challenging period. Eventually, Kelly grew independent,

earning a high-paying job. After facing financial struggles, Kelly sought to reconnect with her mother,

who agreed to pay for her grad school on the condition that Kelly give up her inheritance status.

This decision sparked family controversy, with some relatives questioning whether the woman was

right to choose her goddaughter, Laura, as her main beneficiary instead of her own daughter, especially after Kelly’s financial difficulties
