Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets

Air fryer chicken nuggets are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional deep-fried nuggets. Here’s a simple recipe you can try:

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (you can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions:

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
In three separate bowls, prepare your breading station. In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Take a piece of chicken and coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs to the chicken.
Place the breaded chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Lightly spray the chicken nuggets with cooking spray or olive oil spray to help them crisp up.
Cook the chicken nuggets in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken nuggets from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the air fryer chicken nuggets with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, or honey mustard.
Enjoy your crispy and flavorful homemade chicken nuggets made right in the air fryer!
