Greg Biffle and Wife Shared Tender Family Moments and Gave Away Cash for ‘Biffmas’ Right Before Their Tragic Plane Accident

NASCAR Champion Greg Biffle and Wife Shared Family Joy Until the End

Former NASCAR star Greg Biffle and his wife, Cristina Grossu Biffle, often shared their lives with fans on social media. They posted glimpses of daily family life—even just hours before their tragic deaths in a fiery plane crash in Statesville, North Carolina.

Cristina’s Heartfelt Posts

On Thursday, Dec. 18, Cristina posted on Instagram, including a meme about success inspired by Martha Stewart. Earlier this month, she shared a loved-up couple photo with Greg. Last month, she posted a picture snuggling their 5-year-old son, Ryder, captioning it simply: “My ❤️.”

Cristina often reflected on embracing life fully. In September, she wrote:

“Life’s too short to spend it stuck in a cycle you don’t love. We only get one shot at this, and every sunrise reminds us that the time is now. Passion isn’t something you stumble across; it’s something you choose to pursue with courage and persistence.”

She added:

“Your time, energy, and love are your greatest currency. Spend them wisely. Prioritize moments with people who matter. Create memories that make your soul smile.”

Greg’s “Biffmas” and Family Moments

Greg also shared daily joy with followers. He promoted his “Biffmas” holiday giveaways, distributing cash and prizes. Beyond that, he posted sweet clips of family life: date nights with Cristina, badminton games with Ryder, and even Ryder’s toy excavators in action.

Last week, Greg uploaded a day-in-the-life vlog from a recent Indianapolis trip. He said:

“Saw a lot of friends, racers, colleagues from the racing industry. It was good to catch up with everyone.”

He ended with a promise to fans:

“We got some good stuff coming.”

Fans Mourn a Beloved Family

News of the deaths of Greg, Cristina, and their 14-year-old daughter Emma shocked fans. Social media quickly filled with heartfelt condolences, reflecting the impact the Biffle family had on the racing world and beyond.

Even in their final days, Greg and Cristina lived fully, shared generously, and inspired their followers to cherish every moment.
