Collin Gosselin, 21, Sends Emotional Plea to Siblings After Years of Separation

On August 7, 2025, former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Collin Gosselin, 21, shared an emotional TikTok message to his seven siblings, lamenting the years they’ve spent apart. Posting a throwback photo of them together, he wrote about being “forced apart” and “pitted against each other,” blaming the toll of fame for their fractured bond. He expressed deep love for them, recalling memories they never got to share. Collin said he still sees sister Hannah occasionally, cherishing their limited time together.

When one commenter suggested he might someday understand their mother Kate’s perspective, Collin responded with allegations of abuse. He claimed he was locked up, zip-tied, isolated, and eventually sent away at 12, with only one visit from Kate—during which she allegedly told him he “destroyed the family.” He vowed to break the cycle and teach his future children the importance of sibling bonds. Collin said he hasn’t spoken to most siblings since 2016.

Collin detailed years of mistreatment, including being kept in a basement room with cameras and false psychiatric diagnoses, which he says were meant to protect the family’s image. At 11, he was placed in a facility for behavioral conditions he insists he never had, showing medical records to dispute the claims. He has sworn never to put his own children on TV and believes his siblings’ negative perceptions are due to Kate’s influence. Despite it all, he hopes for reconciliation.

Kate’s lawyer has denied any intent to harm Collin, saying she acted under medical advice for the safety of the family, citing multiple psychiatric diagnoses and violent outbursts. She described him as having a “distorted perception of reality” and maintained distance for safety reasons. Jon Gosselin supports Collin’s account, alleging years of suspected abuse and minimal visitation while Collin was institutionalized. With conflicting narratives, Collin says
