I saw a strange object on the street – at first I thought it was just trash

I saw a crushed grass snake in the middle of a city street—people and cars passed by without noticing.

It gave me chills. And it’s not an isolated case.Snake sightings have surged in recent weeks, with locals reporting them

in gardens, near doors, even inside homes via vents or balcony cracks. Experts blame climate change and habitat loss.

Though grass snakes aren’t dangerous, their presence is unsettling.

To stay safe: keep yards and balconies clean, seal gaps and vents, check shoes and bags left outside,

and never touch a snake—call animal rescue instead. Nature is pushing into the city, and we must stay alert.
