Last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio unequivocally stated that the South African ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome. On Friday, Rubio took to the social media platform X to label Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool as “a race-baiting politician who hates America.”

Rubio further asserted, “We have nothing to discuss with him, and he is therefore considered PERSONA NON GRATA,” while sharing a Breitbart News article that highlighted derogatory remarks made by the South African diplomat about President Donald Trump. The ambassador faced expulsion after he claimed at a recent event that Trump was spearheading a global white supremacist movement.

During his address at the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) in Johannesburg, Rasool attempted to clarify Trump’s recent foreign policy stances, particularly his opposition to South Africa’s property expropriation laws and its relationships with Iran, Hamas, and other nations.Rasool stated, according to Breitbart, “What Donald Trump is initiating is an attack on those in power, mobilizing a supremacist agenda against incumbents, both domestically and, as I believe I have demonstrated, internationally.

”He elaborated, “In this context, the supremacist challenge to incumbency is evident in the domestic politics of the USA, particularly within the MAGA movement, which is a reaction not only to a supremacist impulse but also to clear demographic trends indicating that the voting electorate in the USA is projected to be 48% white. The prospect of a majority of minorities is on the horizon, which must be taken into account. This understanding sheds light on what may appear to be instinctive, nativist, or racist behaviors, supported by data that relates to the construction of walls, the deportation movement, and similar issues.”Read more beliow

My mom never loved me. While my sisters were cared for, I faced constant rejection. I didn’t look like her or my dad, which made it worse. At 14, I saved up for a DNA test. When my dad found the results, his face went pale, and he realized he wasn’t my biological father. He left us, and my mom’s hatred grew. She made me buy my own food and even charged me rent to live in our house. Years later, I demanded to know my biological father’s address. Reluctantly, my mom gave it to me. I went to his house, hoping for a loving family. When he answered the door, I nervously said, “Hi, I’m…” He interrupted, “Wait, I know who you are. What are you doing here?” I asked if he was my dad.
