Student president defends Barron Trump comments after resigning

NYU’s Stern School of Business became the college of choice for the president’s youngest son last year,

as one of America’s top business schools. Kaya, former president of NYU College Republicans, resigned after

comments about Barron Trump, calling him an “oddity on campus.” The College Republicans of America deemed

her remarks inappropriate, leading to backlash. Speaking to the New York Post, Kaya defended her efforts:

“I’ve been killing myself trying to support the conservative movement… It’s an uphill battle being

a Republican at NYU.” She emphasized her dedication to growing the chapter’s presence
