Lily’s parents decided to talk to a doctor about their daughter’s illness out of fear and hopelessness. If someone knows about the mysterious, they might be able to explain the strange find. They got to the scene of the crime pretty quickly. As things got more tense in the room, his cool but firm demeanor stood out as being very different from what was going on. He looked very carefully at the eggs’ complicated surface with gloved hands that barely shook. He was moving slowly toward the eggs. It was clear that the amount of light in the room decreased while he was working, and the shock on his face when he finally looked up was huge.

The professional’s answer was not very clear. “We are right now in an anticipatory state.” We still have hope.

Some questions they still didn’t know the answers to were making them feel like they were being choked by the stress. What were the eggs, to be more exact? These chemicals can be traced back to a person, thing, or source. Why did the expert answer in a way that made those questions come up? Little Lily was only two years old at the time, but she felt the mystery’s weight more than anyone else. The way the eggs looked made her curious in a way that would bother her for many years.
