Kelly was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 12, 1929. Her dad, John B. Kelly, won a gold medal in rowing, and her uncle was a famous playwright named George Kelly. George was Kelly’s number one fan and encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. He kept a close eye on her journey to stardom in Hollywood.

Over the years, Kelly acted with big names in the movie industry. She started in Fourteen Hours, but became famous as Gary Cooper’s Quaker wife in High Noon in 1952. After that, Kelly was in many well-known movies like Mogambo with Clark Gable and Ava Gardner. She won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress for that role. Kelly also starred in The Country Girl, which got her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, the comedy musical High Society, and three Alfred Hitchcock movies: Dial M for Murder, Rear Window, and To Catch a Thief with Cary Grant.

Kelly was only 26 years old when she became the highest-paid and most respected actress globally. But everything changed when she met Prince Rainier III of Monaco at the Cannes Film Festival in France. She married him and became the Princess of Monaco.

Tying the knot with a prince meant her acting career was over.

Kelly looked just like a princess all the time. She wasn’t just pretty, but also classy, kind, and adored by lots of people. She had three kids with Prince Rainier: Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and Princess Stéphanie.

Princess Kelly passed away in a car accident at the age of 52 after having a stroke while driving. Thankfully, her daughter Stephanie, who was also in the car, made it out alive.

Kelly had 11 grandkids, and they all got her good looks and fashion sense. But out of all of them, 20-year-old Camille Gottlieb, Princess Stephanie’s daughter, looks the most like her famous grandma.

Camille is pretty famous because she’s super beautiful and her grandma was a famous actress in America. She likes to share pictures of her family on Instagram, where she has more than 70,000 followers.

A bunch of people say that her blonde hair and blue eyes are just like Kelly’s. We can totally see the likeness.

Camille’s parents weren’t married when she was born, so she can’t become the ruler of Monaco, but that doesn’t mean she’s not a princess.

Kelly would have so much to be proud of if she was still alive.
