The Hollywood duo took a relaxed approach to parenting as their children became adults. Two followed in their parents’ creative footsteps, while one developed a passion for athletics.

Married for 28 years, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos share three children. The couple welcomed two sons and a daughter, with many noting their daughter’s striking resemblance to her famous father.

Kelly and Mark, who first shared the screen on the iconic ’70s soap “All My Children,” exchanged vows in May 1996 and started their family just a year later. Over the years, their experiences as parents have evolved, shaped by lessons learned along the way.

In a 2020 interview, Kelly reflected on the growth that comes with parenting over time, “As you get older and you learn more, that youngest kid hopefully benefits from a little bit more wisdom … and hopefully fewer nerves.”

The actress admitted she initially had different expectations for raising boys and girls but later adopted a more inclusive perspective. She observed that her sons are as sensitive as her daughter, and her daughter is as strong as her brothers.

As Kelly and Mark’s children mature into adulthood, they have continued to make their parents proud in countless ways. Meet the couple’s kids.

Michael Consuelos
Kelly and Mark began their journey as parents with the arrival of their firstborn, Michael Consuelos, in June 1997. The doting mom has often praised Michael for his character, describing him as a person of remarkable integrity, “He is just such a good and decent and thoroughly kind person.”

Michael has also embraced the family’s creative legacy by stepping into the world of acting after graduating from New York University. One of his notable roles was in the hit series “Riverdale,” where he portrayed a younger version of his father’s character, Hiram Lodge, in an episode exploring the character’s backstory.
