Flight attendant suspicious of young girl and elderly man, only to find 3-word note in bathroom after take off

Flight attendant Shelia Frederick of Alaska Airline felt uneasy when a guy and a young woman boarded a trip from Seattle to San Francisco.

The girl hesitated to look anyone in the eye and was less well-dressed than the man.

Shelia was working on the plane and couldn’t stop thinking about the girl. Eventually, she came up with a brilliant, yet brave, plan. This young child was spared from a terrible circumstance thanks to courage.

While serving snacks on board the airplane, Shelia anxiously sought to make eye contact with the girl since she couldn’t help herself.

She informed a coworker of her concerns, and the two of them worked to divert the man’s focus while Shelia made an effort to capture the girl’s attention.

“She finally looked up and the look in her eye was just heartbreaking, so I excused myself to go to the back and I just broke down,” Shelia said in an interview on Good Morning Britain.

She came up with a brilliant idea in which she locked one of the plane’s bathrooms while placing a piece of paper and a pencil inside with the intention of only unlocking it for the girl.

Shelia mouthed restroom while her colleague had the man’s attention before miming writing. She then waited, hoping the girl would comprehend.

Fortunately, the girl called an excuse to visit the restroom. The man remained by her side outside the restroom, but Shelia insisted on remaining there and keeping a tight eye on him.

“I left a note in one of the bathrooms,” Shelia said. “She wrote back on the note and said, ‘I need help.’”

Shelia informed the pilot, who made arrangements with ground control for authorities to meet the man on landing.

In the video below, the heroic flight attendant tells her own story in full.

The young woman that Shelia rescued from human trafficking remained in touch with her, and the two had spoken on the phone a few times over the years. Even college is being attended by the young woman, according to the Western Journal.

“If you see something, say something,” Shelia informs others.

Please share to remind people to trust their instincts and to pay tribute to the brave and wonderful Shelia Frederick. She is such a great example to us all.

MY NEIGHBOR FILLED IN MY POND – I SHOWED HIM WHY YOU DON’T CROSS AN OLDER WOMAN. My neighbor, Brian, never stopped griping about my pond, which sits right near his property. He’d always say it was a nuisance, claiming it attracted bugs, made the ground too wet, and bred frogs that croaked all night, keeping him up. Well, one day, I got back from visiting my sister in another state and was downright horrified. My beautiful pond was completely filled in. My other neighbor told me a crew came by with orders from some company to drain it and fill it up. It was all paid for. She couldn’t stop them, and I was just devastated. That pond had had fish in it, and my granddaddy dug it himself! It was always clean, and my grandkids loved swimming in it every summer. I knew Brian was behind this because he was the only person who hated my pond. It seemed like he thought I would just let it slide because I am old and live alone. Little did he know that I had a few tricks up my sleeve.⬇️

JOKE OF THE DAY: Harriet and Stanley were in their late 80s and had just moved into a new home that their tech-savvy grandson convinced them to make “smart.” “Everything’s voice-activated now,” the grandson said proudly, clapping his hands. “Lights, thermostat, TV, even the fridge tells you when you’re out of milk!” Harriet squinted suspiciously. “Does it tell you when the milk has turned? Because your grandfather has been drinking expired milk since 1972 and says it ‘builds character.’” Stanley shrugged. “Hasn’t k.i.ll3d me yet. Probably the reason I’m still kicking.” So one evening, Harriet tried using the voice commands. She stood in the middle of the living room and said loudly, “Turn on the lights!” Nothing. She tried again. “TURN ON THE LIGHTS!” Still nothing. Sitting in his recliner, Stanley said, “You have to say ‘Hey Smart Home’ first, remember?” So Harriet raised her voice, “HEY SMART HOME, TURN ON THE LIGHTS!” The microwave beeped. The lights stayed off. And the thermostat dropped to 60 degrees. Stanley grumbled… (Continuation in first comment)😂👇

I’m a single dad of 4. For the last 4 months, we’ve been living in a tent on the street. A few days ago, I saw a terrible scene at the gas station… An old man didn’t have enough money to pay, but people…jeez, instead of helping, just cursed and drove him away. I couldn’t stand it. I paid for him albeit with my last money. The next morning, there were 2 jeeps near our tent. Guard: “This letter is for you, sir.” I open it and… Oh my God, I just turn pale.
