Bullied For Being Too Heavy, He Pays Critics Back By Turning All Four Chairs

The Voice is a singing competition show that features four celebrity coaches who listen to the contestants’ performances without seeing them. The coaches then decide whether or not to add the contestant to their team. The show is full of excitement and drama as the coaches battle it out to get the best singers on their team. The show also features amazing performances from the contestants, as well as mentoring from the coaches.

And every season, there’s at least one contestant who emerges as an unlikely fan favorite. In 2019, it was Shane Q. When you see Shane, it’s easy to understand that he’d been bullied for much of his life because of his weight. And Shane said it definitely affected him as a younger man.

Overweight bullying, also known as weight-based bullying or fat-shaming, is a pervasive problem in the United States. According to a study by the National Center for Education Statistics, nearly one in five students report being bullied because of their weight. But mere seconds into his audition, it’s clear that Shane has overcome any earlier issues.

If you listen to this exquisite version of “Tennessee Whiskey,” you won’t be able to return from the video without being a fan of the man. Shane Q is truly something else. He gave me chills all over! Watch the full video below and please leave us a Facebook comment to let us know what you thought!

I WENT TO PICK UP MY WIFE AND NEWBORN TWINS FROM THE HOSPITAL — I ONLY FOUND THE BABIES AND A NOTE. I can’t explain the excitement I felt as I drove to the hospital to bring Suzie and our newborn twin daughters home. I had spent the past few days decorating the nursery, cooking a big family dinner, and planning the perfect welcome. I even picked up balloons on the way. But wheen I arrived, my excitement turned into confusion. Suzie wasn’t there. I just found our two sleeping daughters and a note. My hands shook as I unfolded it: “Goodbye. Take care of them. Ask your mother WHY she did this to me.” I froze, rereading it over and over. What the hell did this mean? Where was Suzie? I asked the nurse, my voice trembling. “Where’s my wife?” “She checked out this morning,” the nurse said hesitantly. “She said you knew.” Knew? I had no clue. I drove home with the twins, my mind racing, replaying every moment of Suzie’s pregnancy. She seemed happy — or was I blind? When I got home, my mom was there, smiling and holding a casserole. “Oh, let me see my grandbabies!” I pulled back. “Not yet, Mom. What did you do to Suzie?” ⬇️

When I saw them, my heart began to sing. In terms of balloons, both the nursery at home and the car were overflowing with them. It’s hard…
